This price was achieved in the auction 20th and 21st Century Art Morning Session at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alix Aymé; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le marché (Market) ; & Studies sold at auction in December 2020 with the realized price of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 145,032.71).
