Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition dans un bol (Composition in a Bowl) by Alix Aymé was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 220,000.00 – 350,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,184.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alix Aymé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le marché (Market) ; & Studies in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 145,032.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition dans un bol (Composition in a Bowl) von Alix Aymé wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 220.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 27.184,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alix Aymé auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le marché (Market) ; & Studies im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 145.032,71).
