Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th and 21st Century Art Morning Session, which included the work Enfants De Luang-Prabang (Children From Luang-Prabang) by Alix Aymé. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 21,141.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alix Aymé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le marché (Market) ; & Studies in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 145,032.71).
