Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alireza Dayani could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work Untitled II changed hands for GBP 62.50 (€ 69.63) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alireza Dayani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,651.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alireza Dayani konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Untitled II für GBP 62,50 (€ 69,63) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alireza Dayani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.651,25).
