A top price for Aline Gagnaire - as previously expected
In November 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund, which included the work La transformation by Aline Gagnaire. The auction ended at the price of USD 1,000.00 (€ 883.16), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 700.00 – 1,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La transformation is the most expensive artwork by Aline Gagnaire that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund durch, in der auch die Arbeit La transformation von Aline Gagnaire zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 883,16) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700,00 – 1.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist La transformation das teuerste Kunstwerk von Aline Gagnaire, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
