In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Obediencia (Obedience) by Alida Cervantes. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,570.36), 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alida Cervantes; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Horizonte EnCálma sold at auction in October 2021 with the realized price of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,404.56).

Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Obediencia (Obedience) von Alida Cervantes zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.570,36) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alida Cervantes; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Horizonte EnCálma im Oktober 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.404,56).
