Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art / Turkish, which included the work Kompozisyon (Composition) by Ali Teoman Germaner. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,665.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Ali Teoman Germaner have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,077.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art / Turkish durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kompozisyon (Composition) von Ali Teoman Germaner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.665,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ali Teoman Germaner konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.077,15) versteigert.
