Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ali Mokawas was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,792.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Ali Mokawas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work The Travelling of The Tree was auctioned for USD 22,500.00 (€ 14,452.72).
