Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alfredo Sosabravo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in May 2008. In the Post War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Otro rapto de Europa sold for EUR 15,320.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alfredo Sosabravo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pensando En Warhol sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,935.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfredo Sosabravo erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Otro rapto de Europa für EUR 15.320,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alfredo Sosabravo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pensando En Warhol im November 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.935,81).
