Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Homenaje a Romare Bearden by Alfredo Sosabravo was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,012.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alfredo Sosabravo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Pensando En Warhol was auctioned for USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,935.81).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.012,46) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
