Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art, which included the work An Arrangement: Group of Nudes by Alfred Wolmark. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 12,404.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Wolmark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Disputation in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 82,845.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Arrangement: Group of Nudes von Alfred Wolmark zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 12.404,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Wolmark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Disputation im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 82.845,18).
