The work The Disputation by Alfred Wolmark was sold in the British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 67,250.00 (€ 82,845.18). With this result, The Disputation is even the most expensive work of art by Alfred Wolmark that we have observed at auctions so far.
