In March 2014 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Adam And Eve by Alfred Wolmark. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,321.16), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alfred Wolmark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Disputation in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 82,845.18).

Im März 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Adam And Eve von Alfred Wolmark zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.321,16) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Wolmark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Disputation im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 82.845,18).
