Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Christies in New York held the auction British and European Art, which included the work A young woman reading on a garden path by Alfred William Parsons. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,880.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred William Parsons - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work After Work - When The Chill Rain Begins At Shut Of Eve In Dull November, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,741.78).

Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A young woman reading on a garden path von Alfred William Parsons zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.880,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
