A top price for Alfred Palmer - as previously expected
The work Francesca, the artist's daughter and her Viola da Gamba by Alfred Palmer was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,019.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Francesca, the artist's daughter and her Viola da Gamba is the most expensive artwork by Alfred Palmer that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Francesca, the artist's daughter and her Viola da Gamba von Alfred Palmer kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.019,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Francesca, the artist's daughter and her Viola da Gamba das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alfred Palmer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
