This price was achieved in the auction Absolument Moderne, Collection Rambaud at Sothebys in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Alfred Manessier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Soir d'été dans la Baie de Somme - 1947 in June this year with an auction result of EUR 223,040.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Absolument Moderne, Collection Rambaud bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Manessier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Soir d'été dans la Baie de Somme - 1947 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 223.040,00.
