Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Matratze, 1969 by Alfred Hofkunst was sold in the Swiss Art/Swiss Made auction at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 8,750.00 (€ 7,551.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Hofkunst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lac de Neuchâtel (Neuenburgersee, 30 Gemälde). 1980. in December 2014 with an auction result of CHF 99,600.00 (€ 82,850.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Matratze, 1969 von Alfred Hofkunst wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Swiss Art/Swiss Made bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 8.750,00 (€ 7.551,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Hofkunst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lac de Neuchâtel (Neuenburgersee, 30 Gemälde). 1980. im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 99.600,00 (€ 82.850,48).
