Despite a disappointment, a good price for Alfred Heaton Cooper
When this work without title by Alfred Heaton Cooper was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in June 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,614.43). Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Alfred Heaton Cooper that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Alfred Heaton Cooper
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alfred Heaton Cooper im Juni 2010 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.614,43) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alfred Heaton Cooper, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
