Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 305.50 (€ 307.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Frederick William Hayward achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christmas roses in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,545.85).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 305,50 (€ 307,72) einen neuen Besitzer.
