Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Chasse Dans L'Allée Vers La Croix by Alfred Dedreux for USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,688.03). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Dedreux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Return in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 848,000.00 (€ 1,251,914.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Chasse Dans L'Allée Vers La Croix von Alfred Dedreux für USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.688,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Dedreux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Return im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 848.000,00 (€ 1.251.914,16).
