Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Before The Departure For Hunting In An Alley by Alfred Dedreux was sold in the Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 27,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Dedreux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Return in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 848,000.00 (€ 1,251,914.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Before The Departure For Hunting In An Alley von Alfred Dedreux wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 27.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Dedreux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Return im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 848.000,00 (€ 1.251.914,16).
