Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Spring Comes To Alexandra Park by Alfred Daniels for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,327.69). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British and Irish Art at Sothebys in Olympia and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Alfred Daniels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian Card Party in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,761.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spring Comes To Alexandra Park von Alfred Daniels für GBP 900,00 (€ 1.327,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British and Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Daniels auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian Card Party im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.761,59).
