Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tabby Cat on the Beach (unframed) by Alfred Daniels was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,368.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Daniels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian Card Party in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,761.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tabby Cat on the Beach (unframed) von Alfred Daniels kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.368,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Daniels auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian Card Party im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.761,59).
