Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Cat Who Sat With Me At The Sacher Gardens Jerusalem by Alfred Daniels was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in October 2004. The price achieved of GBP 896.25 (€ 1,289.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Daniels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian Card Party in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,761.59).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 896,25 (€ 1.289,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden.
