A top price for Alfred Couverchel - as previously expected
The work Arab encampment by Alfred Couverchel was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,662.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Arab encampment is the most expensive artwork by Alfred Couverchel that we have observed at auctions so far.
