This artwork by Alfred Cohen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2007. In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction, the work Coastal view sold for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,501.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alfred Cohen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Riverview sold at auction in July 2010 with the realized price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,803.58).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Cohen erzielte im März 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Coastal view für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.501,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alfred Cohen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Riverview im Juli 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.803,58).
