Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Terpsichore by Alfred Bergström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 19,000.00 (€ 2,006.61). Other works by Alfred Bergström have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2018 by the work Low tide, from the coast at Le Havre, Normandy at SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,869.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Terpsichore von Alfred Bergström im Dezember 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 19.000,00 (€ 2.006,61) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Alfred Bergström wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2018 die Arbeit Low tide, from the coast at Le Havre, Normandy mit SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.869,74).
