Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Group of Female Nudes framed 47.3 x 39.3 x 2.5 cm (18 3/5 x 15 1/2 x 1 in). by Alfred Aberdam was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,056.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Aberdam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte A L'Eventail, Circa 1925 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 16,110.00.
