Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Nudes In A Red Light (Adam And Eve) by Alfred Wolmark. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 13,353.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Wolmark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Disputation in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 82,845.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nudes In A Red Light (Adam And Eve) von Alfred Wolmark zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 13.353,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Wolmark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Disputation im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 82.845,18).
