Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Decorative Still Life (Homage To Arcimboldo) by Alfred Wolmark. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,469.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Wolmark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Disputation in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 82,845.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Decorative Still Life (Homage To Arcimboldo) von Alfred Wolmark zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.469,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Wolmark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Disputation im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 82.845,18).
