Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tiroler Bäuerin by Alfons Walde was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 87,892.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfons Walde have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Der Aufstieg in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 762,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tiroler Bäuerin von Alfons Walde kam im März 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 87.892,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfons Walde auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Der Aufstieg im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 762.500,00.
