Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Amazone by Alexis Vollon was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,250.00. Admittedly, works by Alexis Vollon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mathilde in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 15,086.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Amazone von Alexis Vollon kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexis Vollon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mathilde im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.812,50 (€ 15.086,64).
