Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2005 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work A Young Lady Musician In An Interior by Alexis Vollon. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,440.00 (€ 1,190.28), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexis Vollon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mathilde in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 15,086.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Young Lady Musician In An Interior von Alexis Vollon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.440,00 (€ 1.190,28) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexis Vollon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mathilde im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.812,50 (€ 15.086,64).
