Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work Christmas roses in a brass jug by Alexis Kreyder. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,096.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexis Kreyder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Bouquet of Roses In A Silver Monteith, which sold at auction in September 2004 for GBP 11,352.50 (€ 16,539.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Christmas roses in a brass jug von Alexis Kreyder zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.096,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexis Kreyder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Bouquet of Roses In A Silver Monteith beobachtet, die im September 2004 für GBP 11.352,50 (€ 16.539,16) versteigert wurde.
