Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Un Moulin Près de Morlaix by Alexis Joly for EUR 36.00. This price was achieved in the auction Intérieurs at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 50.00 – 80.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexis Joly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Une forêt avec un cerf s'abreuvant dans un ruisseau, deux biches au fond in December 2005 with an auction result of EUR 504.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Un Moulin Près de Morlaix von Alexis Joly für EUR 36,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Intérieurs bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 50,00 – 80,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexis Joly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Une forêt avec un cerf s'abreuvant dans un ruisseau, deux biches au fond im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 504,00.
