Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Rencontre by Alexis Auguste Delahogue was auctioned at Artcurial in May 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,560.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexis Auguste Delahogue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lavandières Et Porteur D'Eaualexis Delahogue ; Washerwomen By The River And Water Carrier ; Signed And Dated Lower Right 1925 ; Oil On Canvas in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 36,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Rencontre von Alexis Auguste Delahogue kam im Mai 2015 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.560,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexis Auguste Delahogue erzielen.
