The work Sugarbeet Harvest by Alexei Trotsenko was sold in the IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART auction at Christies in London in April 2005. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,440.44), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sugarbeet Harvest is the most expensive artwork by Alexei Trotsenko that we have observed at auctions so far.
