A top price for Alexey Kallima - as previously expected
In November 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Mozart And Salieri by Alexey Kallima. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,467.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mozart And Salieri is the most expensive artwork by Alexey Kallima that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mozart And Salieri von Alexey Kallima zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.467,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mozart And Salieri das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alexey Kallima, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
