A top price for Alexei Konstantinovich Korovin - as previously expected
The work Le Prince Igor by Alexei Konstantinovich Korovin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 47,085.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Le Prince Igor is the most expensive artwork by Alexei Konstantinovich Korovin that we have observed at auctions so far.
