Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Girl Crocheting by Alexei Alexeevich Harlamoff. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 182,979.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexei Alexeevich Harlamoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Arrangement in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 862,372.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl Crocheting von Alexei Alexeevich Harlamoff zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 182.979,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexei Alexeevich Harlamoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Arrangement im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 862.372,85).
