Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Old Lace and Young Dreams by Alexei Alexeevich Harlamoff was sold in the European Art auction at Christies in Paris in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 100,800.00 (€ 95,382.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexei Alexeevich Harlamoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Arrangement in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 862,372.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Old Lace and Young Dreams von Alexei Alexeevich Harlamoff wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion European Art bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 95.382,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexei Alexeevich Harlamoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Arrangement im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 862.372,85).
