Despite a disappointment, a good price for Alexandre Moitte

In April 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Courtship; and Family life by Alexandre Moitte for GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,604.48). This price was achieved in the auction The Dr Anton C.R.Dreesmann Collection Old Master Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Courtship; and Family life is the most expensive artwork by Alexandre Moitte that we have observed at auction so far.

Im April 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Courtship; and Family life von Alexandre Moitte für GBP 4.700,00 (€ 7.604,48) erwerben.
