Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,040.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre Marie Guillemin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The scent of fresh flowers in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 47,000.00 (€ 21,572.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jeune Femme Priant La Vierge von Alexandre Marie Guillemin kam im Juni 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.040,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Marie Guillemin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The scent of fresh flowers im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 47.000,00 (€ 21.572,12).
