Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,237.81). Admittedly, works by Alexandre-Louis Jacob have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'hiver, les glaçons in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
