Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hollyhocks by Alexandre-Louis Jacob was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2016. The price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,455.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre-Louis Jacob achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'hiver, les glaçons in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
