In the 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction, the work Le pêcheur sold for GBP 4,063.00 (€ 6,081.94) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre-Louis Jacob have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'hiver, les glaçons in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
