It achieved a price of EUR 1,574.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Kelety - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work David, which sold at auction in September 2014 for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,532.23).

Die Arbeit Buste de jeune homme, la tête tournée vers la droite von Alexandre Kelety wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Didier Ludot & Félix Farrington Collection bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.574,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Kelety mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit David beobachtet, die im September 2014 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.532,23) versteigert wurde.
