Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Pictures, which included the work The Moon Rising Over The Dunes; And Horses Across The River by Alexandre Jacob. The price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,048.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Jacob have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wintertag an der Seine bei Asnières in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 7,740.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Moon Rising Over The Dunes; And Horses Across The River von Alexandre Jacob zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.048,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Jacob auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wintertag an der Seine bei Asnières im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.740,00.
