Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,746.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Jacob have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wintertag an der Seine bei Asnières in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 7,740.00.
