Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 8,125.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Hyacinthe Dunouy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Capriccio View of Rome with the Monte de Giustizia and Villa Montalto Negroni in April 2005 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 46,443.22).
